The Ole Bus Farm
The Ole Bus Farm is a seventh-generation family farm north of McIntire, Iowa, rooted in the land since 1911. We raise dairy cows, beef cows, sheep, goats, donkeys, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, farm cats and dogs. Our goal is to help people reconnect with real, whole food, and with the farm itself, so they truly understand where their food comes from. We are committed to free-range and other sustainable practices.
Our Guernsey cows produce A2/A2 raw milk with a great cream line. The cows are grass-fed with a small grain portion during milking. We offer raw milk, cream, butter and colostrum (as available) in exchange for a donation. Milk drops are weekly in Mason City and St. Ansgar, with a pickup site near Carpenter, Iowa, and pickup is always available on the farm. We also sell beef, pork and lamb by the quarter, half or whole, plus whole chickens. Message us to get on the list.
Seasonal produce and plants are available at our on-farm store. Spring brings started plants, flowers and hanging baskets; summer brings green beans, apples, tomatoes and garden produce; fall brings apples, pumpkins, gourds, squash and mums.

Farm tours: visitors are welcome for farm tours, great for families, preschool and homeschool groups, classrooms and school groups. Tours are by reservation, free, and donations are welcome.
